KNT Danceworks is the only dance school in the city centre teaching PBT with a fully qualified teacher.
Progressing Ballet Technique is an innovative program developed by Marie Walton-Mahon for students to understand the depth of training muscle memory in achieving their personal best in classical ballet. It gives students a better understanding of how to engage the right muscles in order to dance safely and correctly. Before long you will see huge improvements in your alignment, stability, strength, posture, turnout, control and balance
Yoga Ball Hire
Under 4’8′′ – 55cm ball
4’8” to 5’6” – 65cm ball
5’7” to 5’10” – 75cm ball
5’10 to 6’4 – 85cm ball
A yoga mat (not necessary but nice to have)
You will also use therabands and smaller pilates balls but I have plenty of these to go around.
All our classes take place at the Dancehouse Theatre on Oxford road just 2mins walk from Oxford Road Train Station and are run on a drop-in basis, so come along whenever you like, you don’t need to book or sign up.
There are no membership or registration fees. Most People wear leggings or jogging bottoms, t-short and socks to the classes but as long as you’re comfortable we’re happy!
